Meet Our Expert, Tom Battaile

Tom Battaile is our Principal for Strategic Projects and Systems after serving as a Stormwater Program Manager and Senior Engineer at Bancroft Construction Services. He has over a decade of expertise in stormwater management and engineering consulting. Tom leads Bancroft's engineering consulting staff and provides technical oversight for our programs, leading a team of engineers, scientists, Qualified SWPPP Developers (QSDs), and Practitioners (QSPs).

A licensed Professional Engineer (PE), Tom holds certifications as a Certified Professional in Stormwater Quality (CPSWQ), Qualified SWPPP Developer/Practitioner (QSD/P), and Construction General Permit Trainer-of-Record (CGP ToR). His expertise includes development and implementation of Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPs) in compliance with California's Construction General Permit, contractor SWPPP training, stormwater runoff sampling, and SMARTS project management.

Tom has provided comprehensive stormwater consulting services for high-profile clients including Southern California Edison, Caltrans, and the Port of Long Beach. He has developed Bancroft's in-house inspector training program and provides oversight for numerous construction projects.
