Bancroft Construction Services is a California State-certified Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Enterprise (DVBE), Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), Small Business Enterprise (SBmicro), Women-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE), and a HUBZone Certified Small Business, as well as a Los Angeles County-certified Community Business Enterprise (CBE), that specializes in environmental compliance consulting, including stormwater management, biological monitoring, and cultural monitoring.
Founder and Owner, Ashley Driscoll, served in the U.S. Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer and completed deployments overseas conducting counter-piracy operations with the U.S. Navy’s 5th Fleet in the Persian Gulf and counter-narcotics operations aboard the USS Thach in South America. Her partner, Ethan Driscoll, Principal at Bancroft Construction Services, is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and completed multiple deployments overseas to Iraq and Afghanistan. He continues to serve in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve today.
After completing her master’s degree in Community Leadership, Ashley recognized the need for sustainable environmental consulting services for construction projects to be successful and founded the company in 2017. Focusing on environmental compliance, Bancroft’s services enable the successful completion of construction projects and support the goals of our clients.
Bancroft has provided over 60 state and federally-approved wildlife biologists to conduct pre-construction surveys, construction monitoring, and wildlife trapping and burrow excavations for California High-Speed Rail Construction Package 4. This group represents the backbone of our environmental monitoring team. Additionally, Bancroft’s stormwater management team provides the full service of Construction General Permit (CGP) compliance, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) development and implementation, and Best Management Practice (BMP) installation and maintenance. Our group of Qualified SWPPP Practitioners (QSPs), Qualified SWPPP Developers (QSDs), and the BMP installation crew are highly experienced on traditional and linear underground/overhead projects (LUP) for clients such as Southern California Edison and Southern Power.
These core teams bring many decades of construction, water quality, and environmental compliance experience to the company. This experience lends to quality service across multiple construction disciplines including rail, wind, and power.
