Rick Nail is the Director of Client Services at Bancroft Construction Services, where he utilizes his extensive experience in construction management and quality control to ensure exceptional service delivery to clients. Before transitioning to his current role, Rick served as the Director of Construction Services, demonstrating his versatility and commitment to the company's growth and success.

Rick brings a wealth of experience from his previous positions, including his role as Field Construction Advisor at San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E). There, he coordinated with various regulatory agencies to support the $1.5 billion Strategic Undergrounding initiatives, managed contractors and SDG&E crews, and ensured the technical accuracy and completeness of contractor bid packages. His responsibilities included conducting job walks, reviewing as-built documents, and overseeing project closeouts.

Rick's tenure at Southern California Edison (SCE) further highlights his expertise in construction management and quality control. As a Quality Control Specialist (QCS-3) in Transmission Project Delivery (TPD), he led the construction management efforts for significant projects, including the Mission Creek Restoration in Santa Barbara and the construction of the largest towers in the SCE grid. His daily engagement with the CPUC, County, and City agencies ensured accident-free and timely project completion in highly sensitive environments.

Rick's distinguished career follows his honorable service as a Combat Engineer Officer in the United States Marine Corps, where he served for 26 years. His roles included Force Engineer Officer, Executive Officer, Operations Officer, and Combat Advisor, among others. His military background instilled in him a strong sense of discipline, leadership, and strategic planning.

Rick holds a Bachelor of Science, Summa Cum Laude, from Campbell University and several certifications, including Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, OSHA-10, OSHA-30, Trench and Excavation Competent Person, and Fall Protection Competent Person. His educational background and continuous pursuit of professional development ensure he remains at the forefront of industry best practices.

In addition to his professional achievements, Rick is dedicated to community service, volunteering as a Youth Volunteer Coach, Veterans’ Transition Mentor, and Co-founder of a Veteran Support Non-profit Organization. His commitment to both his professional and personal endeavors underscores his dedication to making a positive impact in all areas of his life.
