Greg serves as Principal Manager of Environmental and Cultural Services at Bancroft Construction Services, bringing over 20 years of expertise in biological resource management, regulatory permitting, and environmental compliance across public infrastructure and private development sectors, including projects similar to those undertaken by Ainsworth Construction.
Greg holds a Master's in City and Regional Planning and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Horticulture from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. He is a Certified Arborist with the International Society of Arboriculture, with extensive experience in urban forestry, tree inventories, risk assessments, and tree protection standards.
His technical expertise spans coastal and desert ecosystems and includes biological resource assessments, focused species surveys, wetland delineations, habitat restoration, regulatory permitting for Endangered Species and Jurisdictional Waters, construction compliance monitoring, and technical writing for impact assessments and mitigation plans.
Well-versed in CEQA, NEPA, the Endangered Species Act, and the Clean Water Act, Greg leads interdisciplinary teams supporting biological and cultural resource surveys, permitting strategies, and agency coordination. He serves as liaison between subject matter experts, engineers, planners, and regulatory bodies, ensuring environmental compliance throughout all project phases. Greg also provides expertise in restoration ecology, horticulture, and mitigation compliance for Bancroft's Restoration Services.
