His work is centered on ensuring the protection of sensitive habitats and species while aligning construction timelines with complex regulatory frameworks.
Greg holds a Master’s in City and Regional Planning and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Horticulture from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Greg has built a career at the intersection of ecological science, environmental policy, and practical field application. He is a Certified Arborist with the International Society of Arboriculture, with extensive experience in urban forestry, including large-scale tree inventories, risk assessments, and integrating tree protection standards into development planning.

Greg is well-versed in interpreting and implementing environmental regulations, including the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Endangered Species Act, and Clean Water Act. His leadership ensures that environmental compliance is embedded throughout all project phases—from early design and permitting through active construction and final closeout.
At Bancroft Construction Services, Greg leads interdisciplinary teams to support biological and cultural resource surveys, permitting strategies, and agency coordination. He serves as a liaison between Subject Matter Experts, engineers, planners, and regulatory bodies, helping clients meet environmental obligations without compromising on project delivery. He also provides invaluable insight into Bancroft’s Restoration Services on restoration ecology, horticulture, and mitigation compliance for restoring ecological habitats and suppressing noxious weeds on project sites.
