Bancroft Construction Services provided comprehensive biological and environmental compliance oversight for Southern California Edison's El Dorado-Lugo-Mojave (ELM) transmission line project from March 2021 through January 2022. Our team delivered continuous environmental compliance monitoring throughout the project duration, ensuring adherence to all applicable environmental permits, mitigation measures, and regulatory requirements for this critical utility infrastructure upgrade. We conducted protocol-level surveys and ongoing avoidance monitoring for the federally threatened desert tortoise (Gopherus agassizii) in accordance with U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service guidelines and California Department of Fish and Wildlife requirements. Our certified biological monitors maintained daily field presence to implement species-specific protection measures, document compliance through real-time reporting systems, and coordinate with construction crews to prevent impacts to sensitive biological resources while supporting the timely completion of Southern California Edison's power system reliability improvements across the desert regions of Southern California.
